Welcome Back Seniors – Let’s Start 2026 the Encore Way

Hi Encore Seniors,

IMPORTANT – Please read this email in full before attending your classes this week.

Welcome back to another amazing year at Encore Your Dance Family!

We are so excited for everything ahead — our annual Showcase, competitions, our End of Year Concert… and something very special…

✨ The launch of our 2027 Japan Tour Team! ✨More information will be coming soon, but we cannot wait to share what this opportunity will look like. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience and we’re so excited for what’s ahead.

As we step into this year, we want to start the right way — with professionalism, pride, and respect for our studio standards.

Encore is a Uniform Studio

Please ensure you are:

• Wearing full studio uniform to classOR

• Have completed your uniform order form (available on the reception desk) by the end of this week.

We understand that some of our crop tops may not provide enough support for everyone. If this applies to you, please ensure you are wearing black dance attire that aligns with our studio colours.

Please note:

• Red, green, pink, and other colours are not part of our studio uniform.

• For competition teams especially, consistency in appearance makes a significant difference to how clean and unified our routines look.

Teachers will be enforcing uniform standards this year.

Correct Shoes for Each Class

Please make sure you are arriving prepared with the correct footwear:

• Ballet – Ballet shoes, leotard, and stockings

• Jazz / Jumps Kicks Turns – Jazz shoes

• Hip Hop – Runners

• Acrobatics / Lyrical / Contemporary – No shoes required

Hair Expectations

As our senior students, you set the tone.

Hair must be securely tied back and off your face for every class. This is not only about setting the example for younger students, but also about showing your teachers respect and coming prepared to work.

We are so proud of the standard our senior group sets at Encore. Let’s continue to raise the bar in 2026 — in presentation, in discipline, and in the way we represent our studio.

Uniform order forms will remain on the reception desk until the end of this week.
