Hi Comp Team Families,
We’re getting excited for Noosa Eisteddfod on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September! Please find your team’s arrival and approximate performance times below.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE COMP WEEKEND
Competition performance times are always approximate. Competitions can and do run early or late, and as Encore does not organise or run these events, the timing on the day is completely outside of our control.
For this reason, all students MUST arrive at their listed Encore arrival time completely ready to perform.
This means:
Full costume on
Full hair completed and secured
Full stage makeup completed
All costume pieces/accessories with you
Ready to go straight into team preparation and rehearsal
HAIR & MAKEUP – PLEASE ARRIVE PERFORMANCE READY
Across the weekend, our staff have a total of 64 competitors to prepare, rehearse and support. With so many dancers performing, we simply don't have the time available on competition day to redo hair and makeup for individual students.
At our last competition, staff needed to spend quite a lot of time fixing and redoing students' hair and makeup after arrival. This is valuable time that we would much rather spend rehearsing with the teams, getting the kids excited, settling nerves and making sure they feel confident and ready to take the stage.
Please ensure every student arrives with:
Hair completely finished
Bun net in place
Hair secured with bobby pins AND bun pins
Hairspray applied so hair is secure and stage-ready
Red lipstick already applied
Bright red blush already applied
Please don't arrive with hair or makeup partially completed with the expectation that staff will finish it at the venue. Of course, we will always help with an unexpected mishap or a quick touch-up, but students should arrive 100% performance-ready.
The best way you can help us give your child a fantastic competition experience is to have them arrive properly prepared. This allows our teachers to focus their attention where it matters most — on the dancers, their routines, their confidence and making the experience exciting and positive.
Please also remember that the approximate performance time is only a guide. Do not plan your arrival around the performance time.
The ARRIVAL TIME listed below is the time we need your child with us, in costume and completely ready to perform.

Thank you, families, for doing your part before arrival so that our teachers can give all 64 of our competitors the attention, encouragement and preparation they deserve.
See you at Noosa!
