2026 Photo Day

Hi Encore Families,

For those who have already booked your Photo Day session, please disregard this email. Thank you!

With lots of new families joining us this term, and knowing how busy life gets, we wanted to send out one final reminder about our Encore Annual Photo Day.

Each year, Encore offers this optional professional photo day as an extra opportunity for families who would like beautiful portraits of their dancer. Participation is completely optional and is not compulsory. This event is separate from our end-of-year concert photography and is simply an additional keepsake opportunity for those who wish to take part.

Photo Day Details

Date: Saturday 29th August 2026 Location: She's So Social Studio

Session Times

Moffat Beach families: 9:00am – 10:00am
Aura families: 10:00am – 11:30am
Kawana families: 11:30am – 1:00pm

Cost: $30 per dancer

Your booking includes:

A minimum of 5 professionally edited digital images
Access to an online gallery to download your photos

What should my dancer wear?

Students should arrive wearing their full Encore uniform.

No shoes are to be worn during Photo Day.

Hair and makeup are completely your choice. Most students choose to wear minimal or natural makeup (if any) and wear their hair out for their photos, but you are welcome to style your dancer however you prefer.

Siblings

If siblings each have their own individual booking, we'll happily capture a sibling photo at no additional cost.

To help your dancer feel confident in front of the camera, we've also created an Encore Photo Day Pose Book full of inspiration and pose ideas to practise before the day.

We would love to capture as many of our Encore dancers as possible, but please remember that this is simply an optional annual opportunity for families who would like professional dance portraits and bookings are essential.
