Miss Kate – Principal: Our Marketing and Social Media maestro, Miss Kate, is the wizard behind our digital presence. Constantly recording and creating new media to share our #EncoreFamily with the world, she also manages Encore School and oversees our comp teams as the Artistic Director. With a full-time commitment and a passion for excellence, Miss Kate is the driving force behind our artistic vision.
Miss Mandy – The GOAT: Welcome back to the heart of Encore Your Dance Family, Miss Mandy! The original owner returns, infusing her classes with a wealth of dance knowledge and a contagious passion for joy. Miss Paige - Ballet and Acro Virtuoso: Head of ballet and acrobatics at our Kawana studio, Miss Paige is a product of Encore herself, having trained under Miss Kate. Currently in her third year of studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Teaching at QUT on a full scholarship, Miss Paige's choreography flow is awe-inspiring. We're thrilled to announce her role as a comp team coach for 2024!
Miss Maddi - Kindy Kids' Creative Queen: Miss Maddi not only runs and designs our amazing Kindy Kids classes but is also a former Encore student. From kindy to high school, Miss Maddi brings technique and structure to our classes, believing that every child is a star. Spread across both Aura and Kawana studios, she's not just a teacher but a comp team coach for 2024!
Miss Lily - Hip Hop Dynamo: Dancing all over the world, Miss Lily brings dynamic energy to her classes that motivates kids to new levels. In 2024, she takes charge of all hip-hop classes and joins as a comp coach at both Aura and Kawana studios, injecting enthusiasm and creativity into every move. Miss Lily also runs our Adult casual Tuesdays at Aura studio location!
Miss Kate Whatman - Acro Expert and Photography Pro: Miss Kate W is a multi-talented gem, completing advanced acro teacher training and overseeing British Ballet Syllabus delivery at Aura. Renowned as the Sunshine Coast's most loved dance photographer, she also holds her circus teaching expertise. Brace yourselves for the elevated acro class at Aura under Miss Kate's guidance!
Introducing the Rising Stars: Miss Laila, Miss Ruby, Miss Bella! These three remarkable role models have grown with Encore, training as student teachers and undergoing dance teacher courses. Undertaking a Cert 4 in Dance Teaching Management at Encore School and completing full circus teacher training, they are set to shine as valuable additions to our teaching team.
