At Encore, we believe that proper dance attire is essential for creating a positive and professional learning environment. In this blog post, we'll provide detailed information about our uniform policy and guidelines to help you and your child come prepared for dance classes.
Encore uniforms are compulsory for all classes, and we offer a wide range of styles to suit everyone's preferences. All items can be mixed and matched, except for ballet, which requires a ballet leotard and ballet stockings which can also be purchased from our in house shop. Uniforms can be purchased at the studio, so please make sure your child comes dressed appropriately for their classes.
Additionally, it's crucial to wear the correct dance shoes for each class. If you're unsure about the appropriate footwear, our instructors are more than happy to provide guidance. Proper dance attire not only helps students feel confident and professional but also allows instructors to assess their technique and provide feedback effectively.
Jazz class = jazz shoes
Ballet class = ballet flats
Hip Hop class = street runners
Tap / Musical Theare class = tap shoes
Contemporary, lyrical and acrobatics classes require no shoes
We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our uniform policy and guidelines, as it contributes to a positive and focused classroom and studio cohort.
