Comp Team Reminders

Hi Encore Families,

We are so proud of all our Encore Competition Team students for the incredible work they have already put into their routines this term. The growth, teamwork, and dedication we are seeing in the studios have been amazing — congratulations to every student on completing their competition routines!

As we head into the final 5 lessons of term, class attendance is more important than ever as we train hard to achieve the best possible results for our very first competition of the year. Every lesson counts as we continue cleaning routines, building confidence, and strengthening team connections.

We would also like to give a special shoutout to our competition team members for role modelling so beautifully within the studios. We have loved seeing students arriving with hair neatly tied up, encouraging recreational dancers within their technique classes, and building new friendships across the team. This is exactly the kind of positive Encore Family spirit we are so proud of

Reminder of required footwear and stockings for each routine:

• Junior Aura 'Michael Jackson Medley': tan matte jazz convertible stockings and black jazz shoes.

• Intermediate Aura 'Gaga Medley': tan matte jazz convertible stockings and black jazz shoes.

• Moffat Beach 'Home Town': no shoes, no stockings. 

• Kawana Junior 'Toy': tan matte jazz convertible stockings and tan jazz shoes.

• Kawana Intermediate 'Scars': no shoes, no stockings.

• Kawana Senior 'Vogue': tan matte jazz convertible stockings, and tan jazz shoes.

• Kawana Open Acro: no shoes, no stockings.

• Kawana Open Hip Hop Crew: no stockings, entirely black low sneakers (socks provided with costume).
