Dear Encore Families,
As two Sunshine Coast mums and long-time dance educators, creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for every child has always been at the heart of Encore Your Dance Family.
We are incredibly proud of our students — from our newest little dancers through to our high-level competitive performers and graduates now working professionally around the world. This success is built not just on training, but on the strong values we share as a community.
To ensure we continue maintaining the warm and welcoming environment Encore is known for, we are asking families to please support us with the following reminders:
UniformStudents are expected to attend class in correct Encore uniform. Our uniform is intentionally low-cost to keep dance accessible and to create an even playing field for all dancers. Please disregard this if you have ordered uniforms and are awaiting their arrival. Senior students particularly should now be in all black at the least!
Respect for our spaceOur studios are our shared home. We expect all students to treat the premises, equipment and staff with care and respect.
Inclusive behaviourEncore is proudly an inclusive studio. Excluding others, forming cliques or unkind interactions do not align with our family values. We will be actively reinforcing positive friendship behaviours in class.
Our team will continue to lead with encouragement and support — because our ultimate purpose is to build confident young people who carry these values beyond the studio walls.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us in shaping not just beautiful dancers, but kind and respectful humans.
We are so proud to have you in our dance family.
